Warehouse Epoxy Coating in Bound Brook, NJ

A COSMETIC REPAIR FOR THIS FLOOR

Cyalume contacted us to cover up a major spill in “isle 8”. They had spilled a large drum of blue dye in one of their storage warehouses and called us to come and cover it up.

PREPARE THE CONCRETE FOR EPOXY

We started by grinding the concrete floor to remove the old stained concrete but mostly done to profile the concrete to create a mechanical bond for the epoxy coating to grab on to.

PRIME THE FLOOR WITH EPOXY

After the concrete preparation , we applied a few coats of epoxy primer to prevent degaussing in the final epoxy coat.

INSTALL THE HIGH BUILD EPOXY

We then installed a 100 percent solids epoxy coating in gray to the floor at a rate of 100 sq ft per gallon. Because this is just a lightly used area for storage, we wil only be applying a tough coat of epoxy and no urethane.
